We’re excited to announce our participation in the Creative Tech Mission to China with the Mayor’s International Business Programme.
Otherwise known as Go to Grow London, this programme supports fast-growing London scaleups with their ambitions for international expansion. With China boasting one of the most developed creative and digital markets in the world, it makes a perfect collaborative partner for London-based companies.
Here, we summarise the scheme and explore how Netleadz is helping to identify new partnerships and business opportunities overseas.
What is the Mayor’s International Business Programme?
The Mayor’s International Business Programme is a bespoke mentoring scheme for fast-growing London businesses encompassing four sectors; technology, life sciences, urban and creative industries.
The programme will promote London and attract businesses to partner and invest in the Capital.
The aim is to help businesses with their international growth ambitions by providing expert advice from leading entrepreneurs and business owners. From providing trusted mentors and advisors, to collaborative workshops and trade missions, there are exciting things on the horizon for Netleadz!
Trade Mission: Creative Tech in China
A series of trade missions organised by the scheme allow companies in the programme to make first-hand business contacts and open new doors overseas.
Netleadz is one of 14 high-growth companies attending the latest trade mission to China. The purpose of this trip is to identify new partnerships and business opportunities.
How Does Netleadz Fit In?
The creative industries account for 3% of the world’s Gross Value Added (GVA).
As an innovative, creative digital marketing company, Netleadz qualified for the programme thanks to positive growth and involvement in international business projects.
We help brands increase their visibility, traffic and sales through a range of digital marketing services. Focusing on search, social, content and reputation, we’re experts in delivering measurable results for brands, SMEs, start-ups and talent.
This places us in a strong position to identify the right innovative tech companies in China to make rewarding partnerships with.
The creative and digital markets in China are growing rapidly and China remains at the forefront of these economies globally.
China is also the second largest source of foreign investment into London, making it an ideal place to explore new creative business partnerships.
Visiting the creative hubs of Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Shanghai, the companies in the programme are meeting with key players and leaders in the creative industries in China.
The mission consists of a series of corporate roundtables, talks and meetings with leading creative tech companies around the country.
From digital marketing, to mobile technology, AR & VR, digital entertainment and smart city tech, Netleadz will be meeting and hearing from a wide range of exciting, Chinese-based companies pushing the boundaries of innovation.
